in my experience if you allow this situation to continue it will remain so forever. dont buy the groceries, dont make dinner, dont clean for while. let him starve and run out of clean socks and see how he reacts. if you are working and bringing home the income then he has to do the housework - sorry i am very down on freebooters at the moment. good more…

The depression is part of who he is. There will always be ups and downs. There is no cure. The question for you is whether you are able to ride that rollecoaster?
Don't be surprised if he isn't aware of the impact he is having. As someone who does suffers from depression (not severly), when I felt down, I felt nothing. I didn't talk to my pa more…

it doesn't sound like healthy love to me. as for the depression - well it is the depression but surely it is also him as well. we can help people and we can help people to help themselves but ultimatley its up to them. sorry, ive been there with friends and a partner. i hope you have a happier day today more…
